With home sales at a 6-year high and listings at a 10-year low, the County has definitvely moved into a sellers market. However, even with sales up and selection limited, the County is seeing only a moderate increase in house prices, nothing like the double-digit inflation witnessed in Toronto and its suburbs.
So far this year, this selling-to-listing price ratio has increased modestly, from 95.8% for the first 5 months of 2015 to 96.0% this year to date.
